What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Aviemore?
Aviemore tree surveys come in three types: Tree Condition Reports for general health assessment, Mortgage Tree Reports for lender conditions, and BS5837 surveys for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and safety of individual trees. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request this report to identify decay, disease or structural risk before it causes damage.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report becomes necessary when a lender's valuation flags trees near the property boundary. The report satisfies the tree-related conditions set by major UK mortgage lenders before completion.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site into four grades, sets root protection areas and produces a tree constraints plan. Highland Council accepts this document as part of planning submissions.
